​​Our founder, Dr Gabor Nemes DrMedVet PGCertSAECC MRCVS qualified as Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in Hungary in 2007. He moved to the UK after accepting a job offer in 2012.

He holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care, and is currently studying towards a Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Surgery.

​

He has been working in small animal practice since qualifying, including 7 years in a busy small animal hospital as Emergency and Critical Care Clinician, and later as a Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Advanced Practitioner in Emergency and Critical Care.

​

His ultimate dream was coming true with the opening of our practice in early 2021: to deliver top notch veterinary care with modern knowledge and excellent facilities, yet keep the tone of the place relaxed and personal with no-rush consults and a growing, committed team.

Ever since the opening, he has continuously been investing into the development of the practice, upgrade of our equipment, including:

• Brand new, comprehensive in-house laboratory

• First-class X-ray generator and digital radiography sensor

• Top-of-the-line, colour Doppler Ultrasound with microconvex, linear and phased array probes

• Renovation of the upper two levels of the building

• New office and clinical areas

• Continuous expansion of soft tissue and orthopaedic surgical, and monitoring equipment range

• Dental suite with state-of-the-art digital dental radiography

• Advanced ophthalmological equipment, including top-of-the-line tonometry and slit lamp

 

At Pet Repair Vets every patient is given the opportunity to receive gold standard treatment, while everything is explained and discussed with their humans in detail, so we can efficiently work together for our animal friends.
